Palakkad: Three students of a college at Manarkkad in Palakkad district were arrested Friday in connection with an alleged incident of ragging which left a 19-year-old youth grievously injured.
The arrested persons are first year B.com students of EMS college, police said.
The arrest was made on the basis of a complaint lodged by the relatives of the victim identified as Vishnu, who suffered serious injuries.
Vishnu, a 'parallel college' student, had come to EMS college to write university examination.
Police said Vishnu was asked to sing a song but when he objected, he was beaten up.
