Death of Saseendran, sons a case of suicide: CBI

Kochi: The CBI Wednesday informed the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court that the death of V. Saseendran, former secretary, Malabar Cements Limited, and his two sons was a case of suicide.

The CBI investigation team submitted the chargesheet in connection with the case before Chief Judicial Magistrate in Kochi.

The probe team, however, found that businessman V M Radhakrishnan was guilty of abetting the suicide and intimidating the victims.

Saseendran, a key witness in the Malabar Cements corruption case, was allegedly found hanging inside his house along with his two sons aged eight and nine years on Jan 24, 2011.

His house had been locked from outside. His wife had opened the door and found the bodies, the court pointed out.

Radkhakrishnan, a businessman, was arrested in connection with the case.
