Alappuzha: Three people were killed and four others sustained injuries when a car in which they were travelling was involved in an accident at Cherthala on the national highway on Thursday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Anurag (17), Jipin (18) and Varunjith (28), all natives of Ambalapuzha.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital and their condition is said to be serious, sources said.
