10-foot World Cup trophy replica unveiled at Kochi Fan Park

Kochi: A 10-foot replica of the FIFA World Cup trophy was unveiled on Saturday at the Unite8Sports Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Park outside Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Kochi, organisers said.

The installation, created by Ferrocon, The Concrete Factory, serves as the centerpiece of Kerala’s official Fan Park and will be a major attraction during public viewings of the tournament’s final rounds. The replica was unveiled by Kochi Mayor Minimol V. K. in the presence of MP Hibi Eden, MLA T. Vinod, MLA Uma Thomas and S.A.S. Navas, honorary secretary of the Regional Sports Centre, Kochi.

Shaffi Mather, chairman of Eagles FC Kerala, said the trophy symbolises Kerala’s passion for football and the club’s effort to create “India’s finest FIFA World Cup public viewing experience.” Eagles FC Kerala organised the Fan Park after securing exclusive public viewing rights for Kerala and Mahe Municipality in an agreement with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, the tournament’s official broadcaster in India.

The Fan Park at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium will feature India’s largest indoor LED screen for viewing the semi-finals, third-place play-off and final, along with stadium-quality production, interactive fan experiences, entertainment, sponsor activations, hospitality zones and family-friendly attractions.

Organisers said the trophy replica is expected to become one of the most photographed features of Kerala’s World Cup celebrations and bolsters the state’s reputation as a major centre of football culture in India.
