Amaravati: Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called CM Chandrababu Naidu a "dictator" after an office of Jagan's party YSR Congress Party's office in Tadepalli was demolished by the administration. It is alleged that the office was demolished, ignoring a high court order, Asian News International reported.
The former CM slammed the Naidu government, alleging that law and justice had been completely destroyed in Andhra Pradesh.
He wrote on X that Naidu has taken his Damanakanda to another level by resorting to political partisan actions in Andhra Pradesh. He is a dictator who bulldozed the nearly completed YSRCP central office at Tadepalli, ignoring the orders of the high court. He alleged that law and justice have completely disappeared from the state.
He continued that his party, YSRCP, would not cower but would fight hard. He said that the threats and acts of violence would not turn his party back. The party will fight hard on behalf of the people, for the people and with the people, he said. He called the "Democrats" in the country to condemn the "misdeeds" of Naidu.
In the early hours of Saturday, a central office building of YSRCP, which was under construction, was razed down by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority. YSRCP leader and former MLA Ambati Rambabu took stock of the demolished office, and the party condemned the act.
Rambabu reminded that even the ruling Telugu Desam Party's office in Mangalagiri was built on government land, and the matter is in court. He said that power is not permanent for anyone. According to him, YSRCP took the land- where the office was constructed- for a lease of thirty years from the irrigation department, while the administration demolished the building without following due process.
He alleged that just after assuming power, TDP started vendetta politics.
