UP to showcase Ram Temple themed tableau at R-day

Lucknow: A tableau titled 'Ayodhya: Cultural Heritage of Uttar Pradesh' will be on display at the Republic Day parade in Delhi on January 26.

A meeting held in Delhi to decide the tableau of the R-day parade approved UP's proposal, a report says.

The state information department is preparing the tableau of Ram temple for the parade.

A spokesman for the government says Ayodhya is becoming a major centre of religious tourism with the the long-awaited temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram.

The Yogi Adityanath government wants to make Ayodhya the main centre of religious tourism all over the world.

For the first time in history, the grand Deepotsav function is now held in Ayodhya on the eve of Diwali every year.

Alongside the culture, tradition and art related to Ayodhya and Lord Rama in different countries, the tableau will also have a glimpse of 'Deepotsav' in Ayodhya.
