Ukraine: Stranded Indians requested to contact embassy urgently

New Delhi: The Indian embassy in Ukraine requested Indian citizens, who are not yet out of the war-hit nation, to fill up a form stating basic details and their current location, NDTV reported

The official Twitter handle of the embassy posted a Google form seeking details like name, passport number and location.

The embassy tweeted, "All Indian nationals who still remain in Ukraine are requested to fill up the details contained in the attached Google Form on an URGENT BASIS. Be Safe Be Strong."

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged his people to go offensive. He said that every meter of Ukrainian land won by protest and humiliation is a step forward towards the victory of Ukraine. This is a chance to live, he added.

The raging war in Ukraine does not seem to end quickly as more cities are falling to Russian forces. There were breaches reported even after the ceasefire.

Russia justified the ceasefire breach that "due to Ukraine's willingness to influence nationalists or extend the ceasefire."

BBC reported that the first significant city fell before Russia, Kherson, witnessed a march of around 2000 people singing the Ukrainian national anthem. They also raised slogans such as "Russians go home" and "Kherson is Ukraine".
