RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and chief minister NItish Kumar

Tejashwi tweets congratulations for Nitish but for all the wrong reasons

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister got a congratulatory note on Monday morning from his opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav but for all the wrong reasons.

The RJD leader today tweeted a "congratulatory note" with a screenshot of a Times of India report which showed Bihar's capital Patna ranking the lowest in almost all parameters of development and progress.

Tejashwi also did not miss to mark a "CC" (carbon copy) to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The TOI report was quoting a ranking of Indian cities done by IIT Bombay. Patna was the lowest ranked in basic amenities, economic development, safety and security, infrastructure development and gender role. It spared the lowest rank to Indore and Lucknow only in transportation access and environmental impact indices.

The researchers of IIT-B recently published its Urban Quality of Life Index, wherein the institution ranked the Indian cities based on their performance in terms of some basic parameters. The ranking showed that Patna ranked the lowest in quality of life in the country and that Mumbai ranked the top in almost all indices.

According to the data, Chennai recorded the lowest crime against women whereas the pink city, Jaipur, has the highest crime rate.
