Jhansi: A chilling video, allegedly from Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi and surfaced on X, showed stray dogs tearing and eating from a sack claimed to be a package of a dead body at a postmortem house. The Free Press Journal (TFPJ), reporting the incident, stated that Uttar Pradesh frequently makes headlines with its poor health services and that the fresh incident has put humanity to shame.

After the video got widely shared on social media, netizens slammed the state administration for its poor health services and demanded action against those who are responsible for the gruesome incident.
A netizen shared the video and commented, "This video is extremely horrifying. Dogs are tearing apart a dead body in the postmortem house of Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh. But the health department officials shamelessly shrug off their responsibility and say that this video is not from Jhansi," TFPJ quoted.
When the person who was filming the video is not chasing away the dogs, he exposes the deplorable state of UP's health services. The realization that even dead bodies are not safe in postmortem houses is horrifying, TFPJ writes.
Earlier, there were incidents from the state that involved stray attacking patients admitted to hospitals. Another video showed rats running around and over beds of bedridden patients who were receiving treatment at state-run hospitals.
So far, no police action has been initiated in this matter, TFPJ reported.
