New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday reiterated his support for the ongoing farmers' protests. "It's simple - We are with the Satyagrahi Annadata (farmers)," he tweeted in Hindi with the hashtag #Farmersprotest.
The farmers' protests have been going for over seven months, starting from November 26, 2020, at the borders of Delhi against the three controversial farm laws passed by the Centre in 2020. Following the completion of seven months, the farmers have now intensified their protests. Farmers under the banner Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) are observing 'Kheti Bachao, Loktantra Bachao Diwas". Farmers will also visit the Governor House in several states.
