Kota (Rajasthan): A BJP lawmaker in Rajasthan alleged protesting farmers as conspiring to spread avian flu by eating chicken at the protest sites.
Madan Dilawar also said that the "so-called" farmers are enjoying picnic and luxuries relishing delicacies with no worry about the country, according ANI report.
"It is a conspiracy to spread bird flu," he added in a video statement.
According to him the bird flu could become a big problem, if the government didn't remove protesters from the sites.
The lawmaker also came down on farmers alleging there might be militants, robbers and thieves among them.
They might also be enemies of farmers and they want to ruin the country, he added.
Tens and thousands of farmers have been protesting at various places along Delhi borders since November 26.
One more farmer committed suicide in second such incident against the government's apathy in resolving the strike.
