No ambulance, boy takes father to hospital in pushcart in MP

Bhopal: After finding no ambulance, a boy takes his father to hospital in a pushcart in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

Footage shows the six-year-old pushing an unwieldy cart in the scorching sun for three kilometres, illustrating the state’s health care.

His mother was walking ahead giving a helping hand to the boy pushing one of the slat posts of the cart.

An exhausted patient was seen lying wrapped in white in the cart.

The boy wearing a tea shirt and blue denims was struggling to steer the cart, often running after to keep pace with the cart.

When the man developed a crisis, the Shah family desperately called up the government hospital for an ambulance.

As there was no ambulance coming even after waiting for 20 minutes, the family took the man to the hospital in a pushcart.

After the video went viral, the district administration has started a probe into the incident.
