'My time more valuable than Adani, Ambani, Tata, Birla..': Ramdev

Panaji: Yoga guru and Patanjali Ayurved co-founder Baba Ramdev claimed on Sunday that his time is more valuable than that of Adani, Ambani, Tata, and Birla. He also claimed that when corporates use 99 per cent of their time on self-interest, a seer uses his time for the good of all, PTI reported.

He was talking at a felicitation function to his aide Acharya Balkrishna in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Union Minister Shripad Naik at the Patanjali Yog Samiti's three-day yoga camp in Goa.

"I have come here for three days from Haridwar. The value of my time is more than that of Adani, Ambani, Tata, and Birla. Corporates spend 99 per cent of their time in self-interest, whereas a seer's time is for the common good," he claimed.

Ramdev praised Balkrishna for making Patanjali from a sick company to a firm with a turnover of ₹ 40,000 crore this financial year with his professional governance, transparent management and accountability.

Ramdev claimed that the dream of making India' param vaibhavshali' can be achieved by creating empires like Patanjali.

One day ago, Ramdev made another curious claim that post-Covid-19, the number of cancer cases surged. He made the curious observation on the stage, which was shared by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

He said, "Cancer has increased a lot. The cases of this disease have gone up after the COVID-19 pandemic. People have lost their eyesight, their sense of hearing….."

"It is a dream of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India should be a global centre of wellness. It is also my dream that Goa should be a centre of wellness," he added. "Goa should not be a den of eating and drinking. Life is not just about eating, drinking and dying."
