Muslim man gets lynched outside police station in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A Muslim man was beaten to death with stones outside a police station in Rajasthan’s Alwar district, triggering allegations of religious targeting and serious questions over the police response to the attack.

The victim, identified in reports as Saikun Khan, was attacked near the entrance of the Baroda Mew police station on September 24. According to local accounts, the attacker struck him repeatedly with stones, leaving him critically injured. He was taken for medical treatment but died from his injuries.

Khan’s family has alleged that he had no previous personal dispute with the suspected attacker. They suspect he may have been singled out because he was visibly Muslim, citing his beard and Islamic attire. The allegation of a religious motive remains subject to investigation.
