Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed on Saturday that if Narendra Modi comes to power for another term, he will make Pakistan-occupied Kashmir India’s part, Scroll reported.
The UP CM was speaking at a poll rally in Maharashtra’s Palghar. He claimed that the Pakistan administration is struggling to hold on to Pakistan-Ocuppied Kashmir. He was referring to the ongoing protests against the rising cost of food and other essentials in the region.
“After the elections, let Modi ji become prime minister for the third time…in the next six months, you will see that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will have become part of India,” Scroll quoted Adityanath.
Then he launched attacks on the opposition Congress party, claiming that when the grand old party was in power, it did not act against Pakistan despite terrorist attacks on Indian soil.
“Today, we take out their eyes before they [Pakistan] look at India with bad intention,” Adityanath claimed.
Further, he said that a British newspaper reported that India killed several terrorists in Pakistan. Adityanath was referring to a report by The Guardian, which reported that the Indian government assassinated at least 20 persons in Pakistan since 2020 as part of New Delhi’s new strategy to eliminate threats on foreign soil.
The report also cited documentation it had seen, which ties India’s Research and Analysis Wing to the killings of Indian dissidents in Pakistan. The attacks were orchestrated by sleeper cells based in UAE, the report claimed.
Adityanath, hailing the report, said that the Indian government is “not going to worship its enemies.
“If someone kills our people, we will deal with them as they deserve, and that is what is happening,” Adityanath said.
