He termed the Congress a 'factory of lies,' while he himself was trolled and condemned for dragging the Muslim community into the political fray to attack Congress with lies.
Addressing a rally in Nandurbar, Modi alleged that the Congress had opened a "factory of lies" this election season, aiming to destabilize the nation's social fabric. He specifically targeted the opposition's stance on issues like the construction of the Ram temple and reservation policies, challenging them to clarify their intentions regarding the reservation of SC, ST, and OBC communities.
Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi countered Modi's accusations with fervent optimism during a rally in Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj. Gandhi proclaimed the impending victory of the INDIA Alliance and Samajwadi Party in the constituency, asserting that a "storm of INDIA Alliance" was set to sweep Uttar Pradesh, predicting a significant defeat for the BJP. Gandhi's rhetoric emphasized the need for change, both in Uttar Pradesh and across the nation, as he rallied support for his party and its allies.
Adding to the political discourse, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the Modi government's policies, alleging that it favoured the wealthy over the poor. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Kharge outlined his party's plans to address youth unemployment, gender inequality in government jobs, and labour rights for unorganized workers.
He painted a picture of a government out of touch with the needs of the common people, highlighting Congress's commitment to inclusivity and social justice.
