Malayali woman allegedly kills 2 friends in California

Mannuthy/Kerala: Two Malayali women were allegedly killed in a shocking incident in California on Friday, with one of the victims identified as 35-year-old Anjana, daughter of Haridas and Sushama of Thekkoot House in Mudikode, Mannuthy. The second victim was Anu, a native of Chingavanam in Kottayam.

According to information received by the families, Anu was allegedly murdered inside the apartment where the three women lived. Anjana was then reportedly called downstairs, where she was allegedly fatally struck by a car. A woman identified as Anila has been taken into police custody in connection with the incident.

The three women and their families were reportedly living in the same apartment complex and were known to be close. They had regularly spent time together and participated in celebrations, including Onam.

At the time of the incident, Anjana's husband, Vijeesh, was away at work, while their only daughter, Vamika, was reportedly inside the apartment.

The circumstances surrounding the double killing and the motive remain unclear, while police are investigating the incident.
