New Delhi: A group claiming to be Khalistan terrorists threatened to detonate bombs in the Red Fort and Parliament areas. Rajya Sabha MPs from Kerala, V Sivadasan and AA Rahim, received the threat message from a group named Sikhs for Justice. The threats arrive when the Monsoon Session of Parliament is about to start on Monday. After receiving the message on Sunday night, the MPs informed the Delhi Police. The message warns that the MPs will ‘remain at home’ if they are not unfavourable to the Khalistanis. Last December, when the first session of the new Parliament began, a group of youths entered the Lok Sabha and shouted slogans. They opened a smoke canister and released smoke.
The new threat comes after the CSIF took over the security of Parliament. With this, it is indicated that the security of Parliament will be strengthened, and all types of visits may be restricted.
