Ramnagar, (Karnataka): Police in Karnataka is set to question a local politician over the suicide of a 45-year-old Lingayat seer in Ramnagar district.

Basavalinga Sree committed suicide on Monday in the premises of the Kunchugal Bande Mutt.

The preliminary inquiry into the case revealed that the seer was being harassed by a local politician, sources said on Tuesday.
