JNU professor faces sexual harassment complaints from 10 students

New Delhi: Ten students have lodged sexual harassment complaints against a professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi. The university’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has begun an investigation into the allegations.

The complaints were received about a month ago. The students have alleged that the professor invited them to his residence for informal gatherings and attempted to sexually harass them. The complaints also allege that he made inappropriate remarks in the classroom.

More students came forward against the professor after the ICC received the first complaint. JNU authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
