JNU makes Aarogya Setu App mandatory for students and employees

New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University has made the Aarogya Setu App mandatory for all its students and employees once the university reopens. In a notification issued on Wednesday, the university warned that if the unsafe status of Aarogya Setu App is displayed, he/she will be denied entry into the university campus.

The campus is reopening on 2nd November in a phased manner. In phase 1, final year Ph.D research scholars will be allowed access to laboratories and project staff in science departments will also be allowed.

In the phase 2, the research scholars will be allowed entry into hostels.

The university has also required the students to undergo self-quarantine for 7 days after arrival at Delhi from outstation and before joining the university.
