Info Edge’s ‘suitcase-full’ of Diwali gifts for employees goes viral

An Indian tech company has become the talk of social media after showering its employees with suitcase-fulls of Diwali gifts.

The gesture by Info Edge left both its staff and the internet delighted, with videos of the surprise going viral across Instagram.

Each employee at Info Edge received a set of VIP suitcases, a diya from the company, and a box of snacks as part of its Deepawali celebrations. Videos posted by staff over the past two days show employees walking into their cubicles to find festively decorated suitcases tied with ribbons, filled with sweets and gifts.

The posts quickly caught the attention of social media users, many of whom were curious about which company had shown such generosity. The comments sections were filled with envy and amusement.

One user wrote, “15th reel on my feed of this office. All of you are so overwhelmed that every other person is posting a reel.”

Another joked, “Me watching the video with Kaju Barfi box that I got from my office.”

A third user added, “I showed it to my manager, he said it’s AI.”

Info Edge is a major Indian technology holding company that owns and invests in several leading internet businesses. Its portfolio includes popular platforms such as Naukri.com, 99acres.com, Jeevansathi.com, and Shiksha.com.

Founded in 1995 by Sanjeev Bikhchandani and based in Noida, Info Edge has grown into one of the leading players in India’s online classifieds and recruitment space. This year’s Diwali surprise has now added another bright chapter to its workplace culture.
