Ayodhya: Controversial Ayodhya seer Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya has announced a reward of Rs 5 crore for anyone who kills Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, triggering widespread outrage and renewed demands for legal action against him. The threat followed Aamir Khan's reported marriage to his partner, Gauri Spratt.
In a video message and subsequent media interaction, the seer declared that he would pay the reward to the killer's family and personally bear all legal expenses arising from the crime. He endorsed allegations earlier made by Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane, who had accused the actor of promoting "love jihad."

Paramhans Acharya alleged that Aamir Khan, who has been married three times, deliberately targeted Hindu women through his marriages and claimed the actor was encouraging "love jihad." The remarks came amid a broader campaign by Hindutva groups opposing Aamir's latest marriage.
The hate-filled statement has sparked strong criticism on social media, with many demanding immediate legal action against the seer, arguing that his public call for murder amounts to incitement to violence. Neither Aamir Khan nor his family has responded to the controversy so far.
Calls for enhanced security for the actor have also intensified. Last week, Bajrang Dal activists staged protests in Bihar's Forbesganj, burning an effigy of Aamir Khan while raising slogans accusing him of promoting "love jihad." The protests cited both his previous marriages and his recent marriage to Gauri Spratt.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt were reportedly married on July 5. Reports indicate that Spratt, who has Tamil-Irish roots, follows the Christian faith. Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
