New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a revision in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass, increasing it from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075 for the financial year 2026–27. The revised fee will come into effect from April 1, 2026.
According to NHAI, the revision has been made in line with the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, which govern toll fee determination and collection on national highways.
The FASTag Annual Pass is available for eligible non-commercial vehicles equipped with a valid FASTag. The facility allows users to travel across approximately 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways without the need for frequent recharges.
Under the scheme, users can pay a one-time fee for a pass that remains valid for either one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first. The system is designed to simplify toll payments and offer a cost-effective travel option for regular highway users.
Once the payment is completed, the Annual Pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle within two hours. Users can make the payment through the Rajmarg Yatra App or via the official website of the National Highways Authority of India.
The FASTag Annual Pass scheme was launched on Independence Day, August 15, 2025, as part of efforts to streamline toll collection and improve travel convenience on the national highway network.
