Gujarat customer beats bank manager over tax deduction on fixed deposit

New Delhi: A fight broke out between a bank manager and a customer at a Union Bank branch in Ahmedabad over increased tax deduction on fixed deposit.

Jaiman Rawal, the customer, was upset over the tax deduction and an argument broke out between him and the manager, leading to fight.

The 43-second-long video circulating on social media showed two men pulling at each other by the collar.

During the brawl, the customer slapped the manager on his head and a woman is heard asking her colleague Shubham to let it go.

An elderly woman, probably the customer's mother, is seen trying to resolve the dispute, pulling them away.

When they were finally disentangled, the customer attacked another bank employee.

The incident took place at the Union Bank's branch in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad.

Vastrapur police registered a case and it is reported that the probe is underway.

In a similar incident at a Canara Bank branch in Patna, a customer harassed and threatened a woman bank manager over the CIBIL score.

Footage showed a man walking over to the employee pointing a finger at her, before snatching her phone and throwing it on the ground, shouting ‘You will record this and embarrass me’.

The man was heard shouting ‘No one will support you. Fix my CIBIL score. See what I do to you in your cabin. You don't know who you are dealing with. You have done wrong to me’. The police are probing the incident.
