Goods worth Rs 2,100 for a Rs 2,000 note, Delhi meat shop aces marketing

New Delhi: After the RBI announced its decision to withdraw Rs 2,000 notes from circulation, a meat shop in Delhi has taken advantage of the inconvenience people are facing. Customers can exchange their Rs 2,000 notes at the shop for goods worth Rs 2,100.

The message displayed outside the store said: "Give us Rs 2000 note and take goods of Rs 2100 from sardar, a pure meat shop, G.T.B Nagar."

Netizens are praising the shop owner's innovative and quick-thinking advertising strategy. One Twitter user said: "If you think RBI is smart, think again because Delhites are much smarter. What an innovative way to increase your sales."

Popular dairy brand Amul and food delivery platform Zomato already responded to the development.
