The weapon, designed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) Pune, can pick targets located around corners as it could bend and capture video feed. With the ability, it could alert the soldiers about a surprise attack. The weapon is the best suit for urban, close-quarter conflict situations. The DRDO was behind the development of the weapon for a decade, and the prototype was introduced in March 2019.
