Delhi Police uses viral 'Ganji Chudail' meme for hilarious road safety message

The Delhi Police, known for its witty social media presence, has once again delighted users with a humorous yet important road safety advisory.

This time, they’ve tapped into the viral 'Ganji Chudail' meme, made popular by the YouTube channel and Instagram account 'Majedar Kahani'.

In their latest post, the Delhi Police shared an image of the animated character 'Ganji Chudail' sporting a helmet, accompanied by the text, "Sabko helmet pehnate hain Delhi Police wale" (Delhi Police ensures everyone wears a helmet).

The caption reinforced the safety message, stating, "Mujhse nahi, chot se daro! Helmet pehno!" (Don't be afraid of me, be scared of injury. Wear a helmet).

The post quickly resonated with users, garnering nearly 7,000 views on X (formerly Twitter). Many praised the Delhi Police for their creativity, with comments such as, "Ganji chudail is not so ganji anymore," and "Delhi police dil ki police" flooding the feed. Others jokingly suggested, "Ganji chudail is the new face of Delhi police."

This light-hearted approach to promoting road safety is part of Delhi Police's ongoing efforts to engage the public with relatable and entertaining content.

In a similar vein, last month, ahead of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh's concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26, the police issued a warning against online scams related to concert tickets. Using a video and a catchy caption referencing one of Dosanjh's songs, the Delhi Police cautioned fans to avoid fraudulent links when purchasing tickets, urging them to verify the authenticity of sources.
