Noida: Footage from Uttar Pradesh's Noida showed a speeding Audi hitting an elderly man who died at the scene of accident.
This is the second incident in over a week involving speeding luxury car after a Porsche driven by a drunk teen killed two techies on May 19.
In the Noida case, the elderly man was crossing the road when the Audi mowed him down, coming frontally.
Janak Dev Shah, 63, who had retired from All India Radio and lived in Sector 53, was going to buy milk, when the Audi hit him near Kanchenjunga Apartment in Noida Sector 53.
In the force of the impact, Janak Dev Shah was flung several feet in the air, police said.
His family members found his body on the road when they looked out for him as he did not return home.
Police registered a case and are searching for the vehicle and owner details.
