New Delhi: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results for undergraduate (UG) admissions in colleges and universities are expected to get released early in September, IANS reported.
The examinations, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), are being held in six phases, starting on July 15 and are going to end on August 30. This was because there were several instances of technical glitches and subsequent postponement and cancellation of schedules.
The result of CUET-UG will be released on the website of NTA.
After the publishing, the results will be sent to various concerned Central and other universities, and the institutions will release their respective cut-off lists.
About 6.31 lakh students have appeared in the CUET-UG examinations so far in 3 phases.
In the fourth face of the exams, scheduled on August 17, 18 and 20, a total of 3.72 lakh candidates will appear and admit cards are being issued. The 5th phase will happen on August 21, 22 and 23 and admit cards for the same will be issued on August 17.
According to UGC chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar Kumar, most of the candidates have been given cities of their choice.
UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar informed that most of the candidates were given the cities they had chosen as examination centres. Eleven thousand candidates not served with chosen cities were shifted to phase 6.
The candidates who could not appear in phase 2 held on August 4, 5 and 6, either due to technical reasons or due to cancellation of the centre, will be allowed to appear in phase 6 examination from August 24 to 30.
