New Delhi: Oil marketing companies (OMCs) slashed the prices of commercial Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 158 on Friday.
The new prices will be effective from September 1, Friday and with this, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,522 in Delhi.
The new price reduction comes days after the government cut prices of domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 200 for all connection holders across the country.
Monthly revisions for both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders are done on the first day of each month, with the new rates becoming effective from Friday.
Earlier in August, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were cut by Rs 99.75 by OMCs and in July, the prices were increased by Rs 7 each.
