Patna: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Opposition party in Bihar, has called Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as ‘Cheatish Kumar’ alongside depicting him as an RRS worker in the right wing outfit’s uniform of white shirt and khaki shorts. India Today reported.
RJD’s vehement reaction came after Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal (United) backed the Waqf Amendment Bill passed by the Parliament on Friday.
Nevertheless the Bill pulled through criticism in Parliament, JD(U) that backed it suffered setback when two of its prominent leaders resigned.
In the midst of this the RJD released the photophopped image of Nitish Kumar in RSS attire with the caption ‘'RSS-certified Chief Minister Cheatish Kumar'.
The RJD was questioning Nitish Kumar’s secular credentials by calling out his support for the Bill alongside stressing that Kumar was influenced by the RSS ideology.
