BJP MP takes up Gadkari's challenge, claims he shed 32 Kg

Ujjain: Now Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has no choice but keep his word to the lawmaker for Ujjain Anil Firojiya.

Firojiya shed 32 kg of weight after Gadkari promised the MP earlier in June on stage that he would give ₹ 1000 crore for his constituency for each kilo he shed.

Anil Firojiya was quoted as saying that he had taken up the challenge and shed almost 32 kg.

He added that he is in for continuing with his weight loss regime if it brings more budget allocation for the development of his constituency.

After the union minister had thrown down to him the challenge, the BJP MP followed a strict diet for weight loss alongside exercise.

Firojiya wakes up at 5.30 in the morning and hits the ground walking, running, doing yoga along with an Ayurveda diet chart which includes a light breakfast.

He eats salad for lunch and dinner alongside one bowl of green vegetables and one roti of mixed cereals and to go between there is either carrot soup or dry fruits.

Anil Firojiya told ANI that he met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and told him and he was very happy to know about it.

The minister kept his word approving development plans of worth ₹ 2,300 crores for the region, Anil Firojiya added.

Nitin Gadkari in told a public event in Ujjain that once his weight was 135 kg which he harnessed to 93 kg and showed Anil Firojiya.his old photograph.

At the time the minister promised the MP of allocating Rs 1000 crore for each kg he would shed.
