New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) decided to start its 'BJP's 15 years Vs AAP's three weeks campaign on Saturday to exhibit its councillor's works in the last 20 days in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), PTI reported citing the party leader Durgesh Pathak.
Pathak said on Friday that the party would share a report card on the work done by its councillors in the last 20 days.
After the elections earlier this month, AAP won 134 seats, ending the 15-year rule of the BJP in the municipal corporation at the MCP polls. The party suppressed Congress to just nine seats in the house of 250.
While the oath-taking ceremony for the councillors is yet to be conducted, Pathak claimed that they had started their work already. He said that they rolled in "huge changes" which could be seen across the city, that too in just 20 days.
According to his claims, post the results of the MCD polls were published, drains were cleared and parks cleaned while the sanitation workers were being treated with respect by the AAP councillors.
He said, "People must have noticed this on their social media that Delhi looks changed in just 20 days. Our councillors have been working hard for the betterment of the city."
