Hyderabad: On Wednesday, director Pooja Bhatt briefly participated in the Congress party's "Bharat Jodo Yatra." Bhatt could be seen conversing with party leader Rahul Gandhi in a video that was posted on Twitter.
Bhatt is the first well-known Bollywood star to have joined the yatra; she is the director Mahesh Bhatt's daughter.
She waved to admirers who applauded her beauty while wearing a black full-sleeve Kurti and a printed stole, NIE reported.
On Wednesday morning, Gandhi's march began again in Hyderabad, Telangana. In preparation for the march, the city traffic police have issued a number of traffic advisories.
The yatra will make the journey about 8 km from Hussainialam, Charminar, Madina Circle, Afzalgunj, Moazam Jahi Market, Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally, Public Garden, Assembly, Ravindra Bharathi, Reserve Bank of India, Iqbal Minar rotary, Telugu Thalli flyover junction, NTR Garden to the Indira Gandhi Statue and the IMAX Circle.
On the 56th day of the yatra, several Telangana party Congress leaders participated. On September 7, the march set out from Kanyakumari and travelled through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh before arriving in Telangana.
