IIT-D COVID+ students share video with positive message to brave virus

NEW DELHI: A group of COVID-positive students at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi's campus who are admitted to a quarantine centre have made a video on their isolation experience.

The video message was aimed to encourage the student community to "be brave and be strong" and "not panic about the COVID situation".

The students also urge the public to not hesitate to seek help if they think they have caught the virus.

Apparently, the IIT Delhi campus has set up a Covid-19 care facility for students and staff on its campus. At present, there are 5 students put in isolation, says the video.

Thanking the doctors, IIT Delhi staffs and the Gulmohar mess manager, a student appeals to the public to stay positive and said: "Don't panic about the Covid situation. If you have any symptoms, go to the IIT hospital and they are taking good care of us. Be brave and be strong."

The IIT Delhi director, Ramgopal Rao, shared the video and promised that the "institute will do everything possible to make it easier for you".
