New Delhi: For the posts of Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable and sub-inspector (SI), the currently open registration window is going to close on Tuesday, May 14. Those interested and eligible candidates who have yet to apply can do so by visiting the official website rrvapply.gov.in.
The recruitment call is to fill 4,660 constable and SI vacancies in RPF, NDTV reported.
However, the application editing window will be open on May 15, and it will last till May 24. Candidates are mandated to provide credentials such as registration number and date of birth to log in and make changes to their application form.
The qualification for the position of RPF constable is that applicants must have cleared the Class 10 exam from a recognised board or institution. The age requirement is between 18 and 28 years. For the RPG SI position, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, and their ages must be between 20 and 28 years.
The fee structure for submitting applications is as follows: general category candidates have to pay Rs 500, while those belonging to SC, ST, ex-servicemen, females, minorities and economically backward classes were mandated to pay Rs 250.
The selection criteria for both posts include a computer-based test (CBT), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and document verification.
