Amit Shah urges people to make Hindi part of life to boost democracy

Varanasi: Emphasising the need for strengthening the Hindi language across the world, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that only through embracing the language of administration a democracy could taste its success.

Being a native of Gujarat, Amit Shah said he loves Hindi more than Gujarati though there is no conflict between Hindi and other local languages across the nation.

The Home Minister was addressing a crowd at the Akhil Bhartiya Rajbhasha Sammelan in Varanasi. He also urged the people to be steadfast in making Hindi a part of life to achieve a missed goal of the country that is swabhasha. The event was also attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Shah said there were attempts to create controversies around the Hindi language, but that time has now ended. He also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for working with pride to propagate our languages around the world.
