Air India pilot allows female friend into cockpit during flight, probe started

New Delhi: An Air India pilot allegedly allowed a female friend into the cockpit during a flight, says a report.

The incident that violated the safety norms laid down by The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) occurred on February 27 aboard a flight from Dubai to Delhi, according to The Indian Express.

It is not yet known the details of the pilot who has invited into cockpit the female friend.

Meanwhile, a senior DGCA official quoted by news agency ANI as saying that DGCA, which is conducting an investigation into the matter, will examine the relevant facts.

A crew member alerted DGCA with a complaint about the incident, leading to the probe.
