Shamli: A 22-year-old Muslim man's murder brought to light another case of lynching in Uttar Pradesh.
The man named Samir became the latest victim of the brutality of a group of men who had beaten the victim with sticks and iron rods in Banat town of the Shamli district, reported thequint.com
According to the police, on Thursday 9 September, Samir had an alternation with the assaulters at a bus station in Banat, resulting in his death.
On the complaints of the deceased's uncle, Adil, the police have registered a murder case against eight people in connection with the lynching and efforts are said to have been underway to arrest the killers.
