Mumbai: Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," pleasantly surprised his Hindi-speaking fans with his remarkable fluency in the language.
During an interview with ETalk channel as part of the film's promotions, Cruise decided to showcase his Hindi speaking skills.
The Indian-origin journalist conducting the interview praised Cruise for his impeccable pronunciation, even on his first attempt.
Curious if there was anything Cruise couldn't do, the journalist asked, "Is he going to speak in Hindi with me?" To which Cruise eagerly responded, "If you want me to speak in Hindi with you, I will. Let's try it."
The journalist then asked Cruise to say, "Namaste. Aap kaise hain?" (Hello. How are you?). Cruise flawlessly delivered the line, earning lavish praise from his fans.
Many Indian fans found Cruise's accent endearing. One Twitter user commented, "He is so cute while speaking 'namaste aap kaise ho.' Is there anything he can't do?"
