Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured after being attacked with a knife during a robbery at his home early this morning. The incident took place around 4 AM at his Bandra house in Mumbai, where he was with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their children, Taimur and Jeh.
During the theft, a thief assaulted Saif, injuring him with a knife. Fortunately, the injury was not serious, as the knife wound was on his back. Saif was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. Mumbai police have confirmed the attack, and an investigation is underway. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being reviewed to identify the intruder.
Reports indicate that Saif’s wife and children were unharmed during the incident, though the family has yet to release an official statement. Mumbai's Joint CP Law and Order confirmed the attack, while the DCP of Bandra division verified that Saif was injured in a scuffle with the intruder.
Saif, the son of actress Sharmila Tagore and cricket legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, is a renowned Bollywood actor. He made his acting debut in 'Parampara' (1993) and is known for his roles in films like 'Yeh Dillagi', 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Hum Tum', 'Love Aaj Kal', 'Race', 'Tanhaji', and 'Devara: Part 1'.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
