New details about the second part of Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster Dhurandhar have emerged as the film’s first installment continues its strong box office run.

The sequel has been officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge and is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.

According to the official website of the Central Board of Film Certification, the teaser for Dhurandhar: The Revenge has received an A certificate. The certification listing also notes that the teaser has a duration of slightly over one minute.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar marked the filmmaker’s return after Uri: The Surgical Strike and has gone on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film so far.

The trailer of the first part was released on November 18 and generated significant buzz due to its storyline and characters. Inspired by true events, the film shows Ranveer Singh taking on four terrorists from Pakistan. While speculation around the identities of the characters has circulated widely on social media, the makers have not confirmed these details. The Central Board of Film Certification has stated that Singh’s character is a work of fiction.

The film explores socio-political dynamics involving different ethnic groups in Pakistan and features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

The sequel was teased in the post-credit scene of the first film. While the original had a runtime of three hours and 34 minutes, the duration of the second part has not yet been disclosed.
