Goa: Bollywood stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani have commenced their wedding celebrations with a Haldi ceremony in Goa.
The couple, scheduled to tie the knot on February 21, is hosting the Haldi event at the lavish ITC Grand Goa near Arossim Beach.
The Haldi ceremony, set against the backdrop of a sundowner, is an intimate affair attended by their closest friends and family. A circulated picture from the festivities showcases a coconut adorned with their initials "R" and "J."
For the main wedding day, the couple has planned a menu featuring "gluten-free, sugar-free, and healthy treats," along with a variety of cuisines, emphasising their commitment to fitness.
Goa was chosen as the wedding venue due to its sentimental significance, being the place where Rakul and Jackky reportedly fell in love. After several years of dating, the couple intends to have an eco-friendly wedding and plans to resume work immediately after the nuptials.
