The teaser release for Dileesh Pothen's latest film 'Joji' has been released by Amazon Prime's official social media accounts. 'Joji' stars Fahad Fasil in the lead role and is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'.
"The voice of your eyes is deeper than your speech," is the tagline for the trailer. Fahad plays a struggling engineering dropout whose ambitions to become a wealthy NRI lead him down some dark paths.
Fahad revealed that he was excited for the audience reaction to 'Joji' and termed the film a "crime thriller".
"The moment I got to know about my character and his journey, I knew I had to be a part of the movie. I love to watch movies with unconventional plot twists, and Joji definitely packs in some surprises," the actor said, as quoted by Hindustan Times. "I give myself enough time to understand my character and essentially become it, but Joji is one such character that had an edge to it which made the role interesting and appealing to me."
The film is scheduled to release on April 7.
