Kamal Haasan admitted to Chennai hospital after developing fever

Chennai: Actor Kamal Haasan was admitted to a hospital in Chennai on Wednesday evening with symptoms of fever.

Fondly called Ulaganayagan, Kamal Haasan was reportedly taking regular health checkup at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC).

But sources said he developed fever that required a visit to the hospital where doctors advised him rest for a couple of days, according to India Today.

The 68-year-old actor was being attended by a team of doctors and will be discharged today.

Founder of political outfit Makkal Needhi Maiam party has been busy lately piloting a successful movie as well as hosting Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6.

Kamal Haasan recelty paid a visit to his mentor and legendary director K Vishwanath in Hyderabad and on his return, the actor reportedly developed fever and admitted to the hospital.

One of the most versatile actors ever to emerge from the south, Kamal Haasan is still hogging the lime light with his highly chiseled acting skills as seen in his latest movie Vikram.

The legendary actor is currently working director Shankar's Indian 2 and he will soon work with Mani Ratnam for KH 234, according to the report.

It seems his hands are full as he has more projects to work on especially one film with director Pa Ranjith.
