Kochi: Monica Oru AI Story, India’s first artificial intelligence movie, will now hit theaters in Kerala on June 21. The release was initially scheduled for May 31 but has been postponed due to technical reasons.
Recently, a prominent Malayalam actor revealed at a function that he has a mild form of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which could have been managed better if diagnosed early.
“Monica Oru AI Story” portrays the life of a child with this condition. The story centers around a hyperactive boy named Swaroop who faces challenges at school, at home, and in his neighborhood. His parents are unaware that his behavioral issues stem from his illness, a situation faced by many families today.
MONICA ORU AI STORY is an inspiring children’s film that explores the psyche of a hyperactive child and his transformation into a wonder boy. Sreepath, known for the movie Malikappuram, plays Swaroop.
Gopinath Muthukad stars as the magical motivator, and American social media influencer Aparna Mulberry voices the AI character. Other main cast members include Subha Teacher, Sindhu Teacher, Ananda Jyoti, Hari, Ajay Kallai, Anil Baby, PK Abdullah, and Cini Abraham Albert Alex.
The lyrics are by Prabhavarma, music by Unucio, and background music by Rony Raphael. The cinematography is by Sajeesh Raj, and the editing is by Hari G. Nair.
Produced by Mansoor Palloor under Zams Production House, the film is directed by EM Ashraf. The movie was shot in locations such as Kanhangad, Mahe, and Cochin.
