Mumbai: The anticipation surrounding the upcoming film "Crew," starring Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, continues to grow as its release date draws near.
According to the film's writers, Mehul Suri and Nidhi Mehra, the trio underwent rigorous training sessions to prepare for their roles as cabin crew members.
The writers revealed that the actresses received specialized training from former air hostesses to ensure authenticity in their portrayal.
"They had former cabin crew members on set for a few days to help with authenticity. Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti paid close attention, asking questions and ensuring accuracy in their portrayal through constant communication with the team," stated Mehul and Nidhi.
The film's trailer hints at a storyline set against the backdrop of a struggling airline company named Kohinoor. It showcases the challenges faced by its leading actresses as they navigate through life. Amidst the chaos, they stumble upon a dead passenger smuggling gold biscuits, leading to unexpected twists. Diljit Dosanjh's entry as a Customs officer further complicates the situation, adding intrigue to the narrative.
Kareena Kapoor shared the trailer on her Instagram, inviting viewers to buckle up for a thrilling ride. She also shared excitement about the film's release, scheduled for March 29. The film, co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, marks their reunion after the success of "Veere Di Wedding" in 2018, which also featured Kareena Kapoor alongside Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania.
The makers recently released foot-tapping tracks from the film's album, including the remake of the 1993 song "Choli Ke Peeche," choreographed by Farah Khan. Kareena Kapoor shared the music video on her Instagram, adding to the excitement surrounding the film's release.
