Princess Diana wore a miniature Lady Dior bag to the Met Gala in 1996, and now the upscale French fashion house Dior is reissuing it. A limited number of the iconic bag will be released once more. The royal's favourite purse was a smaller replica of the blue satin bag, which was specially chosen for her. The bag will be sold at Dior boutiques all over the world if you want to add a piece of fashion history to your closet, NDTV reported.
One of the most well-known and well-liked objects, the handbag continues to fascinate many fashion fans. In honour of Diana, the bag has since been renamed. Harpers Bazaar claims that the First Lady of France gave Diana the bag at the opening of the Paul Cezanne retrospective at the Grand Palais in Paris. The bag was then referred to as "Chouchou."
After a few months, the royal began frequently wearing the bag. According to the website, the Princess grew so attached to the purse that she insisted on having it customised in navy to match her eye colour.
The purse, which goes on sale this week and costs $5000 (Rs 4,09,177), is limited to 200 units and has crystal-encrusted hardware, according to Highsnobiety.
The Crown season 5's recent release, meanwhile, drew mixed reviews. Elizabeth Debicki, an Australian actress, played the late British queen.
There are numerous accounts of Princess Diana's fiery television interview, emotional struggle, and divorce from Prince Charles, as well as his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles and his conflicts with his mother.
But it wasn't clear how the show handled Diana's passing in a car accident in Paris in 1997 or whether a disclaimer would be included before each episode.
Ten brand-new episodes of Season 5 of The Crown were made available on Netflix in November.
