Director Roshan Andrrews has teamed up with actor Dulquer Salmaan for a police-centric film titled 'Salute' that has begun production this year. Reports suggest that Bollywood star Diana Penty has been roped in to play his heroine in the film. Dulquer had earlier expressed great hopes for the film, describing it as a 'brilliant' script with a lot of potential. The film is produced by Dulquer's own Wayfarer Productions company.
The film is scripted by the Bobby-Sanjay writer duo who have also worked with Andrrews on hits such as 'Mumbai Police' and 'Kayamkulam Kochunni'. Meanwhile Dulquer's most anticipated release is 'Kurup', directed by Srinath Rajendran who debuted along with Dulquer in the 2012 film 'Second Show'. 'Kurup' is scheduled to release in theatres on May 28.
